Problem: Logo and Brand redesign with incorporating Brand aesthetic and mission statement

NEW Logo

Client expressed the following ideas: rustic, reclaimed barn wood, identifiable, simplified

Incorporating the brands mission statement & tagline: “We Do Recover” & “A Different Take On Cake”

Initial sketches and ideation

Sketches added to the computer for first renderings and shape construction

Initial thoughts were to concentrate on the “e” for a letter mark

Lower case as it visually looks similar to a cake roll

Some brand and packaging sketches as they presented in the first meeting to accompany the log & brand redesign
